Nevertheless, it's been a good career and it's allowed me to be what I really am -- a dad (three times), a husband (twice), a lover (none of your business how many times), a brother to eight, a friend to many, and after these many years still a broken-down old ex-jock who relives his past ad nauseum and embellishes all his great football feats while diminishing the times he got his ass kicked.
