Info-sites (E-Zines)
Info-sites are sites based on a core principles of Insight and Lessons, to deliver valuable content on the web. If you feel you have enough valuable content (minimum 10 articles) on any one subject, Insights and Lessons will help you create a site dedicated to your topic.
Establish Yourself as the Expert
Info-sites can be a very cost effective way to generate leads for your company/product/etc. Your main business website should be dedicated to what your business is all about. But by identifying what your target market is interested in and writing content that is valuable to them you establish your self as the expert in the field and redirect traffic to your site.
For example if your company is "The Green Thumb Shed" and you sell garden flowers and plants, your main website should be about what flowers and plants you sell, where you are located, and what services you provide. Now lets look at things your target market might be interested in and searching the web for: flowers, vegetables, gifts, flowers for people with allergies, how to plant a garden, how to plant a roof top garden, etc. If you pick a topic, say "Planting Your Rooftop Garden" and make a info-website full of content on how to plant your rooftop garden, what plants are best for planters, what planters are best, what tools are needed, etc. you just gave your target market valuable content that they were searching for, they see that YOU are an expert in your area and a business they can trust, and on every page there is an ad leading back to your business and the products you sell.
Site Options:
1. Sponsorship Sites
For sponsoring an info-site, you receive an ad on EVERY page of the site whether you submitted the article or not for the duration of the time you are sponsoring the site. That means other people can submit articles to your info-site on your chosen topic, and YOU get more advertising for no additional work or money! In keeping with the tradition of Insights and Lessons, the article contributor would receive an ad on every article they submit.
There will be a link to your Sponsored info-site from the main menu of the Insights and lessons website. For instance, following our example above, your site's domain could be www.rooftopgardens.com and the link to the site from Insights and Lessons would be "Rooftop gardening."
Yearly cost of a sponsored info-site is $500 (+ 10 articles to start). This covers all set up, hosting and domain name registration. If you have 10 articles posted for a year, it would be like paying less than $4.17 a month on an ad. If 5 other people add articles you have 15 articles promoting YOU, and it would be like paying $2.78 a month on an ad.
If after the year you decide you no longer want to sponsor the site, sponsorship of the site may be sold to someone else (you still get an ad on all of the articles you submitted), or the site articles may be incorporated to the main Insight and Lessons website. So your articles will STILL be driving traffic to your businesses website and you will be paying nothing!
2. Personal Site with articles
Yearly cost of a Personal info-site is $195 + design set up. The $195 covers the hosting and domain name registration. The cost of the design set up depends on what other things you want on the site. Please contact us for a price quote (minimum set-up cost is $750).
With a personal site you (and those approved by you) would be the only contributor. This is a site that is all about you and your expertise.
A Pay-Per-Click campaign can also be added for an additional charge.
3. Cooperative Site with Additional Pay-Per-Click campaign
Details are being worked out as we speak. The general jest is you and 4 of your buddies (preferably non-competing businesses that service the same industry) create a site together. You submit at least one article a month and a newsletter with all 5 contributors articles gets sent to your cooperative lists each month. The bigger your list the LESS you pay. (I know sounds too good to be true, but it is working out really slick.)
AND on top of the cooperative site and the newsletter, money will be set aside for a Pay-Per-Click campaign driving traffic back to your cooperative site.
Did I mention that all of the pages feature ads that link back to your site?!!!!! Which is a huge help with SEO.
