Info-sites are sites based on a core principles of Insight and Lessons, to deliver valuable content on the web. If you feel you have enough valuable content (minimum 10 articles) on any one subject, Insights and Lessons will help you create a site dedicated to your topic.
For sponsoring your info-site, you receive an ad on EVERY page of the site whether you submitted the article or not for the duration of the time you are sponsoring the site. That means other people can submit articles to your info-site on your choosen topic, and YOU get more advertising for no additional work or money!
Establish Yourself as the Expert
Info-sites can be a very cost effective way to generate leads for your company/product/etc. Your main business website should be dedicated to what your business is all about. But by identifing what your target market is interested in and writing content that is valuable to them you establish your self as the expert in the field and redirect traffic to your site.
For example if your company is "The Green Thumb Shed" and you sell garden flowers and plants, your main website should be about what flowers and plants you sell, where you are located, and what services you provide. Now lets look at things your target market might be interested in and searching the web for: flowers, vegetables, gifts, flowers for people with allergies, how to plant a garden, how to plant a roof top garden, etc. If you pick a topic, say "Planting Your Rooftop Garden" and make a mini-website full of content on how to plant your rooftop graden, what plants are best for planters, what planters are best, what tools are needed, etc. you just gave your target market valuable content that they were searching for, they see that YOU are an expert in your area and a business they can trust, and on every page there is an ad leading back to your business and the products you sell.

Yearly cost of a info-site is $500 (+ 10 articles to start). This covers all set up, hosting and domain name registration. If you have 5 articles posted for a year, it would be like paying less than $8.33 a month on an ad. If you have 10 articles, it would be like paying $4.17 a month on an ad.
If after the year you decide you no longer want to sponsor the site, sponsorship of the site may be sold to someone else, or the site articles may be incorporated to the main Insight and Lessons website. So your articles will STILL be driving traffic to your businesses website and you will be paying nothing!
