Not to toot our own horns, but we are WAY better than a blog.

What is a blog anyway?
"Blog" is short for "web log" - a sites that functions as an online journal intended for general public consumption - populated with the site owner's personal or professional opinions.

Ok, so we sound a little like a blog, but we really are way better....

First off, it's not just one person writing the contents. It's a community of people. So you can find multiple points of view and gleam insights from many different people all in the same place.

Why do most businesses have blogs?

To establish themselves as an expert in their industry and generate leads and or buzz.

Big caution with a blog for businesses though:
If you are an entrepreneur, you know you should be establishing yourself as the expert, but do you have time every week/day to dedicate to that? By posting articles you can establish yourself as an expert and take advantage of a site dedicated to online sharing where NEW customers can easily find you and gleam insight from your knowledge. Cause they are searching for knowledge on what YOU know about.

AND BIG BONUS: you get to benefit from someone else dealing with the SEO matters and marketing to get people to the site.

Why do most individuals have blogs?

To share what is going on if their lives.

And if you have a personal blog..... that's great, but unless you are family, personally I'd love to here your insights, but can you spare me the drama? Call me selfish of my time, but that is one of the main reasons this was set up - get the good insights without having to weed through the muck.

I mean no disrespect to bloggers, but I'm just the type of person that does not need to know who little Tiffany has a crush on this week (and I am guessing I am not alone here). BUT if Tiffany has a gleam of insight on how to deal with rejection from her crush of the week - I might be interested in reading that. So this site is set up to "cut through the crap" and get to the insights and lessons in life instead.

See, I told you, better than a blog!
