New super cool catch phrase, "Enjoy the Fish"

"Enjoy the fish" it is the new catchprase sweeping across America..... ok, maybe not, but in my mind it is. (Ahhhh, if only the world really did exist as it does in my mind.) The phrase may not actually be sweeping across anything but my mind, but I am using this to help launch my little campaign to make "Enjoy the Fish" a household phrase.

I recently read an article in Worthwhile Magazine (now Motto) by Constance Barkley-Lewis called, "Enjoying the Fish." In it she talks about some of the struggles we go through in life and how we choose to deal with them. She makes an analogy about how she was out deep sea fishing and got a big fish on the line. While trying to reel it in, she strained her body and got to the point of utter frustration. When someone came along and simply said to her, "Enjoy the Fish." (In my mind I'm fishing and it's a hottie like Aaron Eckhart who is saying this.) Once he said this, she changed her attittude, and started to enjoy the process, enjoy the struggle, enjoy the fish.

Life's struggle can become life's treasures if we take a moment to change the way we are looking at or dealing with things. If we choose to make the most out of situations, if we choose to enjoy the learning process, if we choose to see the excitement and fun in the struggle, if we choose to "enjoy the fish."

Our struggles can be seen as burdens, but I like to think that they also make life interesting. If you are not struggling with something right now, are you learning and growing as a person? Isn't it great to have things in life that push us? That make us better? That help us grow?
I hope we all can find things to struggle with and remember as we push forward to enjoy the process as well as the eventual reward - to enjoy the fish!

And help the campaign to make "Enjoy the Fish" a household phrase.
Thank you for your support.

P.S. Motto is fabulous. I highly recomend it.
